What I am finding is that AICC is nearly gone in the LEP space (as it is with LMSs too), so if I was you, I’d seek SCORM, SCORM 1.2, PENS is nearly non-existent in this segment and CMI-5 is extremely new and few vendors have it – expect more in 2019. Most vendors in the LEP segment have this. Video streaming.

Bewildered on what is happening, why what is needed isn’t appearing as it should, and how is it possible that something so obvious based on where e-learning is heading, mobile is pushing and future tech is inspiring is lost among so many vendors? And therein lies one of the issues, that is showing up with many, many vendors.

Rather, under video you can: Convert the video into a SCORM, AICC or SCORM 1.2

Equation tool – I’ve seen more vendors add this thing – and unless you are in education I can’t see why you would use it. What makes them different than a LMS is the lack of analytics and common standard features including uploading 3rd party content. Video streaming. SCORM 2004, AICC. #4
