Looking for systematicity, the aviation industry created a subcommittee to develop standards for Computer Based Training: the Aviation Industry CBT Committee (AICC). ADL decided to create a new standard, the Experience API (xAPI; originally known as Tin Can). The goal is to track a richer suite of information about behaviors.
