What about AICC? Unless you purchased a tool that is only AICC compliant, which in that case, time to ditch it and get another one. If you purchased an AICC only, then you have to find a system that is AICC compliant. It can be SCORM too, but the AICC is the key. . SCORM is backward compatible, not forward. .

Then we have LMS vendors adding LEP functionality, LEP vendors adding LMS functionality (a mistake IMO) and LEP vendors doing more with what they have (right approach). . I base it on a couple of observations notably that the person who runs learning products for Amazon comes from a learning system that is a content curator.

How many of you have seen vendors respond to your questions? A: Virtually every LMS vendor out there in the marketplace provides these features. Congrats, you are probably looking at less than 10 (based on my LMS directory which contains 475 vendors). Smart App for TV – One LMS vendor. SCORM/AICC/PENS/IMS.

General items include custom domains (included at no charge), AES 256 bit for security, Multi-tenant (aka extended enterprise, should be at no charge, but some vendors charge for the children or to go multi-tenant), and API integration. Rather, under video you can: Convert the video into a SCORM, AICC or SCORM 1.2

That said, there were some hiccups and from an entire vendor wise (expo here) angle, some unique and some, uh. This year, I estimated a 55/60% e-learning, including some ILT vendors offering some type of e-learning component. . I see way too many vendors think a web site is all they need and people will find them.

The problem though is that there is a crisis going on in the K-12 sector and it is tied in part to e-learning (with wins and losses) and LMS vendors who serve that sector. and K-12 LMS vendors (a chunk of them). Possibly three parties in the rest of the world – Schools, some Governments, and a nice slice of K-12 LMS vendors.
