What about AICC? Unless you purchased a tool that is only AICC compliant, which in that case, time to ditch it and get another one. If you purchased an AICC only, then you have to find a system that is AICC compliant. It can be SCORM too, but the AICC is the key. . Web Conferencing. Irrelevant in my opinion.

For those who want to find APIs, check out programmable web , which has over 4,000 of them. Rather, under video you can: Convert the video into a SCORM, AICC or SCORM 1.2 Can also capture someone talking/appearing on a web cam too. They login and zammo – home learner dashboard. They see their learning path (if applicable).

I will have an upcoming post on CMI-5, but it is (in a basic statement) – the newest standard and one whose ardent fans believe will kill SCORM off once and for all (I’m not a believer of that, I mean AICC is still around). CMI-5 is far superior, but its biggest holdback is consumer knowledge and acceptance.
