CBT Prior to online learning known then as WBT, and then the latter term of e-learning (vendors today, use it to refer to content that is online), there was CBT. It had something to do with ILT. CBT (Computer-Based Training).

Thus, I focused on at least 50% for Tier 5 (although the higher the better, but even today, vendors are still a work in progress on these items), 85% or higher for Tier 4, 100% Tier 3. I won’t say who the vendor is, but they are big into adaptive learning and push that as the key for their system. Every item received points.

A Look Back at 2020 for E-Learning

From a vendor perspective there was a huge impact, but what was odd, is that some vendors still are living in the past, as though, this is a minor blip, and in 2021, everything will go back as it was – corporate wise that is. Sorry to disappoint – but it won’t. . that needed a system. I know it seems odd.

Vendors use the term as a term itself, calling content within their learning systems as e-learning, to differentiate from classroom training (i.e. Why not reference it similar as WBT compared to ILT? Perception issue – solved.

ATD2015 Conference Post – Review

That said, there were some hiccups and from an entire vendor wise (expo here) angle, some unique and some, uh. I can honestly say, the ATD show is changing from ILT driven (it has always been that way) to e-learning improvement. I see way too many vendors think a web site is all they need and people will find them.

Some vendors have multiple systems, but generally speaking it is usually one to one, i.e. one vendor and one system. Open source systems are included, but not “customized shops or botique firms from customized Moodle per se that you pay” In the 2017 report, the number of vendors explored was 1,000. is in the report.

Courseware LMSs – Good or bad for the industry?

Maybe you scored it via Wiley, but in many possibilities you purchased the content thru your LMS vendor. It’s much easier than say going directly to the content provider, buying it from them and then having them talk to your LMS vendor to put it in for you (which, honestly you should do, because it will save you money).
