So I turned my attention to the building my own player instead. Just about that time, I came across Dave Mozealous ’ blog titled “ How I created a custom Articulate Presenter skin in less than an hour. I’m a graphics guy so the literal term, “skin” to me is the exoskeleton or the outer graphical look and feel of the player.

Some slides may or may not have audio. Those that do have audio can be adjusted using the volume control button. This same course continued through explanations of all of the player features. If your course player follows convention, then it’s usually not hard to figure out what’s a play button and what’s a back arrow.

“Keeping Up” features : Add FLV video, branch using the player’s Next/Back buttons, hide slides in the navigation panel, disable navigation on individual slides, and customize/translate text labels. Supports ActionScript 3 (but I wouldn’t be surprised If Articulate fixes that soon). Engage (Snap does not have an equivalent).
