Around the same time, the ASTD Learning Circuits Blog had the July "Big Question" which was "Choosing Tools" which is actually a series of questions: How does the eLearning design process need to change to accommodate such a wide variety of tools? It is a great entry outlining 3 elements of good design.

Recently, Lectora launched a new tool that integrates PowerPoint slides directly into a Lectora project. The layout of my test took about half an hour setting up the Master slide and linking the subsequent slides (pages; screens). Also, Lectora publishes the slide position at x=0 and y=0.

This month's ASTD Big Question relates to a person who graduated from a theory-only program in Instructional Design and was not provided with the experience of actually creating instruction using any of the latest tools. Where do you start? Go to YouTube and search for "Learn Flash."

The biggest thing I would like to see is that we add some voiceover on just about all of the slides. on just about all slides. They think the program isnt working when they come across a slide that doesnt have v.o. The slide/screen itself can focus on key points and or use diagrams. I can sure relate to this!
