The biggest thing I would like to see is that we add some voiceover on just about all of the slides. on just about all slides. They think the program isnt working when they come across a slide that doesnt have v.o. Now, maybe Im just jaded and want to get to an approved storyboard. But I caved. A line here or there.

This manufacturing process training course was originally delivered as a four hour plus death-by-PowerPoint classroom session (if you could see the original PPT source content, youd begin glazing over within a few slides). Im glad youre on board with my ducks! Im particularly thrilled with using scenarios (naturally :).

And Im not implying that Im a Second Life naysayer. He cites a USA Today article which says, Students "dont like it for activities that can be done in a real classroom, such as lectures or slide shows. Ive been exploring the use of Second Life for a client for whom Im developing an e-Learning strategy. Real concerns.

Do you use audio on every slide because the client says people will think its broken if you dont? Her slide "People Learn Differently" looks very similar to Loewens Playground Theory. I usually lunge for the mute button, but often I still have to wait for the now-silent narration to finish before Im allowed to move on. Im with you. Of course, this is all just my unfounded and profoundly biased opinion (Im very very visual).

Heres what I recall: They created a set of powerpoint slides. Lets just say, a set of slide were created by someone. They had the SME record the audio for the slides.
