I believe that you can expect some type of voice capability with the actors/avatars as in the ability to either lip synch with the characters via audio tool/recording tool in the product will show up more in 2013. One vendor already offers it in 2012, and knowing this industry – if something takes off and works, others will follow.

We are sick of the RSS feed and then super lame YouTube links. I’m sorry but watching a video link, is not engaging social learning in my book. Yes, YouTube is a form of social media, but so is Pandora, and I’m unaware of any LMS vendor enabling Pandora in their system. What about Twitter? One way really.

Screen capture, audio editing. Vendor adoption is slow. I can’t tell you the number of SaaS RCAT vendors who pitch Safari, even Chrome and then their product looks funky in those browsers.
