I’m tired of seeing PowerPoint with an audio or video clip spun as a sound WBT course. I focused on what makes WBT tick, what is the differences between WBT and ILT. They all were used to the ILT approach. They assumed that WBT, was like ILT but just online. . It was ILT. ILT – the evil empire.

Nowadays, people use their rapid content authoring tool – to create a PPT or use Gen-AI for a text-based course. Boring Even HR who provide training, regardless of whether it is ILT or e-learning, think from their perspective, not the person and people receiving it. Do it once with ILT and OJT = then what? Being a barista?

Nice selection of vendors – in general. More vendors showing off their products then in the past – still a couple believe that a poster board will do the trick. Wi-Fi worked a lot better, but vendors and end users still had issues inside the expo hall. I heard this happen to two vendors.

Collaboration – How much longer are AT vendors going to push this out as “new”? Built-in audio narration tools including some editing. Lots of Templates – No longer satisfied with ten, now many vendors are offering extensive list of templates. It is still fresh with more vendors adding it.

Innovation abounded and the push to focus on the “PPT to Flash&# angle continued to shine. Sure, other vendors will say you can do that too, but you have to open each object file to get it. Import and convert PPT to the web, add rich media. Many vendors hyping PowerPoint to Flash angle as key feature. Supports HD h.264

Each PowerPoint slide appears in order, following your PPT order. For example: your first PPT slide is on the timeline then you add a word document, next an image file, another slide (your 2nd one in the deck u uploaded), then audio/movie and so on. ppt slide, quiz, image, etc.).
