One of the most important elements of good instructional design is creating good questions, even if you are doing rapid e-learning. One rapid e-learning package that I have been introduced to recently is Flashform by a company called Rapid Intake. The question creation screen is shown in the top of the blog.

SCORM compliance and/or AICC – there are tools out there who support neither – but that is not the norm and there are a few tools out there who also support PENS. Add documents, materials including ability to attach to courses. Add lessons – seen in the education versions. Screen capture.

LMSs are more about compliance and regulatory and not about remediation. As for the point that LMSs are focused on compliance and regulatory – that is 100% not true. Some LMSs have compliance features, but no one is telling the client they have to use them. Rapid Intake is now called Litmos Author.

In the next updates which I was told was in a week or two- ADA 508 compliance and Speech to Text. While you can cut “scenes”, you can not move them around i.e. the slides to a different point in the timeline, nor the presenter – as in they are in the middle and you want to move them to the beginning.

Rapid Intake three years ago, were the first ones to push output to HTML5, dominKnow Claro offers on/off synch native app besides push to HTML5 content too. There isn’t a better way to validate compliance, especially safety/regulatory compliance than this when it comes to mobile. Need video validation?

Compliance/Regulatory, work audits. Q: I use Articulate, Rapid Intake and other 3rd party authoring tools, will they work in any LMS? If you are seeking this route, some vendors include it at no charge, the others who offer it – charge extra. Streaming video – low number of systems. ePub publishing . Task management.
