So, at the recent AECT 2017 conference, I participated in three ways that are worth noting. For my own presentation, I shared my efforts to move ‘rapid elearning’ forward. Unfortunately, the audience was small ( 27 parallel sessions and at the end of the conference) so there wasn’t a lot of feedback.

Making Mobile Mayhem

On a less formal basis, I want to suggest that another area where we need a little more light and a little less heat (and smoke) is mobile. We’re doing a lot wrong when it comes to mobile. As Jason Haag has aptly put it, elearning courses on a phone (or tablet) is mobile elearning, not mobile learning (aka mlearning).

Detecting Mobile Platforms the Smart Way for Lectora

Reflections on Adobe eLearning Conference 2017

This was the first time I participated in Adobe eLearning Conference held in Washington D.C. I understand this was the second time this conference was organized. So in that sense I see a great overlap between the eLearning and TechDoc spaces. and am I glad that I did so.
