You’ll need to change your File Type if it defaults to “Create PDF / XPS ” 4. To size the background image, I created a 1024X627 landscape file (72 resolution) and placed my Droplet image. I had to make some adjustments, while maintaining the aspect ratio to get fit the image exactly into 1024X627.

Screencasting can be a little bit daunting when faced with all the "techie" jargon like aspect ratios, codecs and frame rates. It's always good practice to try and record, edit and produce at the same dimensions i.e. make sure your clips and images (perhaps png files) are all the same size. Warm up your vocal chords and help me sing.

Most them work perfectly in one of two aspect ratios: 1:1 (square). I usually save in PNG format. Create PowerPoint Graphics to Use in Rise. Since there are two aspect ratios, I create two PowerPoint files for my Rise graphics. You can see the PowerPoint files I created for the scenario demo.

That’s why creating a great custom YouTube thumbnail is so important. The ideal thumbnail size is 1280 × 720 pixels with a minimum width of 640 pixels, and the ideal ratio for YouTube players and previews is 16:9. Along with the correct size, you’ll also want to keep in mind the ratio, file size, and file type of your thumbnail.
