I believe this is very possible, because regardless of the generation, people want easy, they want fast and if they could do a lot of things in a system for example, rather than having multiple windows open, they would do it. For vendors, they could make it happen and generate revenue. E-Learning 24/7.

I’m sure the people who had purchased Plateau or even SuccessFactors Learning system were delighted to hear the news. I recall one sales manager at one of the Big Dogs telling me that people no longer want a learning system, they want that additional channel – i.e. talent management functions.

2013 - LMSs are not the only learning system in town. The new kids of the block (please no jokes here) are Video Learning Platforms. If you are going to offer HD output and even push it – then you have to offer tablet capability – since the iPad for example offers the ability to have it seen in HD. Should be a standard feature – not only in RCAT, but learning platforms in general (but, I digress). . Bottom Line.

Another example of some vendors who remind me of the snake oil salesman of the wild west. Yes they offer some features for free, but the paid version looks exactly like any other social learning system that uses the FB like page. Unless you are aware that PPT can work on the iPad, you will believe their claims.

See an example below. Problems with recording audio. Video goes in and out with the audio – They explain it has to do with the latest version of Flash, but how about coming up with an alternative. Problems abound within the product – not bugs mind you, just poor processes (IMO). Gift wrapped.
