But, the reason I constantly bash this into e-learning vendors heads is they just DON’T GET IT. When everyone was using Internet Explorer, one vendor said, hmm what about “Firefox&# – and it worked. When everyone was PC only, a vendor thought to themselves. Yes, I own one. Risk Takers.

Will the vendors support the new versions of all the browsers? Firefox, Opera and IE9 are in the pipeline. Today, there are vendors who do not support Chrome or Opera. The small size vendors. E-Learning 24/7. Will this change, since there are smart phones who offer Opera as their browser, or even Google.

I recall one vendor whose site and their salespeople stated the IE thing, but the vendor told me that it would work with FireFox. . Now there are vendors who say it won’t work with Chrome. Some systems will say they only work with IE. This can be questionable. When they state this – it is often true.

Vendor can create a component so you can push directly into your LMS, without having to upload it directly (extra cost). Preview window can be seen in Chrome, IE, Firefox and Safari browsers, and when choosing preview will do so – based on your set criteria of what browser to do so (within the product).

Testing worked well on all well known browsers: Latest version of Chrome, Firefox 5, IE 9 and latest version of Safari (did not test with Opera, Avant or a few others). My Learning – identified the popular courses – solid. my downstream is 20Mbs. 2Mbs is very fast in upstream for home cable, DSL).

Works in Chrome, Firefox, IE 9 (did not test Safari). Terms “trainer” and “trainee” – these are instructor led terms, not e-learning. Requirement for the “trainer” to have their e-mail address before course is launched – why? Preview window.

In test version, product did not work in FireFox, had problems in Safari, but worked well in Internet Explorer. PDF capability to integrate into the course, loaded fine, but froze my screen – thus “task manager&# had to come to the rescue.
