YouTube is a great service for sharing videos and screencasts publicly with the world. I’ve been a long time fan of Camtasia and doing screencasts, but at work, we lacked a secure way to share these videos. I used the latest version of Camtasia on the Mac (2.10.3 My experiences with Camtasia. Camtasia did great.

Through a fortunate happenstance, I came across Jing : a very simple screencast tool that would incorporate voiceovers. And so, a screencast star was born. I had already created the standards and exercises for the various certification tasks, so my next step was to create a very simple script to use as my voiceover.
