Feature sets – they have to be more than PPT to Flash or add an audio clip and video clip to the course. Mobile Learning/HTML5 output – doesn’t hurt and has to be considered. It pitches that it is a m-learning product because it supports HTML5. It doesn’t output to HTML5, though. #8

Remember when only a few offered the PPT to Flash option in their tools? I know, smartphone lovers will disagree, but if you go back into 2010, how many authoring tools or platforms were offering m-learning despite the extensive growth of smartphones (which has been increasing for years)? They output only to HTML5.

Basically, you can add your PPT, MP4, assessment, word docs, etc. along with the course you have uploaded into one nice package and view it within that player; or just have the course you uploaded – SCORM/AICC and xAPI, HTML5. Works only in Flash at the moment, so forget about seeing those courses on any iOS device.

They have always been quite secure, which reminds me, more systems are emphasizing in their marketing materials, that their SaaS platforms are secure, with some even stating the level of security, i.e. 256 bit AES. I should note that there is one vendor who has their entire mobile platform on a USB jump drive. Supports Flash and HTML5.
