Open up a new blank project and let's look at the steps involved when using Lectora to sync audio. Import Audio as an FLV File. The format of the audio file is important because only Flash Video (FLV) files can be used for syncing events to audio. For some, this may actually be a preferred way of syncing events to audio.

If there’s a beta program or new software application, I’m quick to sign up and play around with it. All you do is open it and then you can pick a color from any part of your computer screen. Audacity is an open source audio editor. On a side note, if you are looking for an FLV editor, you might try the RichFLV editor.

As long as you can open it in your computer, view and learn from it, it’s elearning. This is done by using ‘Flash Player’, a program available for free download from the Adobe website. Open source authoring tools include CourseLab , CALI Author , eXe etc. eLearning : Any learning content that can be delivered using technology.

I will say this about EasyGenerator, the properties is so extensive in this program, that you should not have any issue on what the outcome or desired effect should be. Video – flv only. You can also set your properties in the left side within the work tree. Video with text – same premise as Image with text .

It works on all platforms and is probably the most popular free audio program around. Open Office. I keep hearing good things about Open Office. To create a.pdf, just use the print command from the source program that the file was created in. Some say this email program from Mozilla is better than Outlook Express.

There are a lot of cool things you can do in PowerPoint as a simple graphics program. wav,flv,swf) to use for practice and then create a PowerPoint slide. The opening sequence might be a custom flash animation (but could be done in PowerPoint) and the flashing icon on the sore back might be a flash animation. October 23rd, 2007.

Well, actually, I'm open minded, you could do that if the situation warrants it. It's time to import them into a video editing program. Export to a format that Captivate supports, like FLV, and then import it into the program. If you've never done it before, it can be a very intimidating task. Start with Learning Goals.
