For example, my FriendFeed pages show activity from this blog, the Internet Time Blog, my Flickr account, bookmarks I put on Delicious, and my entries from Twitter. An activity stream is a mash-up of an individual’s or organization’s feeds.

Every Buzz item can be turned into a conversation (like in Friendfeed or Wave.) This to me is a key feature and might be worth emulating by learning technology providers. Buzz can also aggregate content from other social sharing sites, Flicks, Picasa, Twitter, and YouTube. How do you see Buzz helping in workplace learning?

While he's talking primarily about feeds of updates, e.g., facebook, twitter, friendfeed, etc., I think this applies pretty well to aggregation more generally: As we move toward a standardized way of presenting feed stories to aggregators, the value provided by the aggregators is essentially commoditized. by Nick O'Neill.
