I recall a conversation I had last year with some folks from Articulate who informed me that PowerPoint is an authoring tool. Strange, since I could find no evidence, no information from multiple research standpoints, that Microsoft pitches it an authoring tool. PowerPoint is presentation software. I’ll be waiting.
