I admit that in general I have been underwhelmed in the past with Saba. So, when I went and checked out Saba Social, Saba’s new social learning platform, I had very low expectations. My Learning – identified the popular courses – solid. I was surprised. They finally figured it out. Search bar.

I will go thru several areas for e-learning, not just learning systems, although by far, it will be the most, since a lot has happened in 2020. . But overall, in my opinion, EdTech also showed all its weaknesses front and center, and way too many vendors were unprepared for the numbers of schools, universities, colleges, etc.

I often bring up FindAnLMS , my search and comparison platform for finding learning systems, including LMSs, simply because I have been told by many people looking for or researching LMSs that they like it and use it. . I know I have. Seen it that is.

Although after talking to several vendors, irritation seemed to be a part of their response to me. Estimate 55% e-learning related content, including e-learning vendors and ILT vendors who added a “virtual training” component as part of their offerings. Great to see Saba attend the event.

I’ve had to go into places who wanted e-learning didn’t have it and wanted to move fast on it, just as I went to places who either had it or didn’t have it poor about getting it done – even though they wanted it done – management, company culture, etc. If you have impact of learning objectives include them.
