But what if you’re not a Photoshop whiz or own a separate image editing software? Lectora introduced some new image editing features with Version 12 which can save time and money. Turn on and off the Maintain Ratio button if needed. Often, most eLearning images we find aren’t perfect, and a little editing may be necessary.

Designers who work in Rise likely already know that they need to select cover photos that look good on many different devices and in an extreme range of aspect ratios, from very horizontal to nearly square. The new themes help solve that with cover photos that appear in very similar aspect ratios, no matter the device.

If you do follow me since a while, you are aware of the fact that I am a big fan of the Rulers and Guides which appeared with version 9.0.1. They have a lot in common with the same feature in other Adobe applications (Illustrator, Photoshop to mention two). I choose a horizontal padding for both and a vertical for the right Fluid Box.

Many of you already use tools like Photoshop to create your graphics. GIMP : solid Photoshop alternative. Paint.net : solid Gimp or Photoshop alternative:). Do you spend a long time cropping them out with Photoshop, or is there an easier way? I use Photoshop, but you can do it with most graphic editing tools.

ROI, market share, profit margin, cost savings, EPS, P/E ratio, EBITDA, and employee job satisfaction are common measures in business organizations today. I’m still absorbing the implications.

This slide also uses a “standard” 4:3 aspect ratio instead of the more modern widescreen size (16:9). This illustration is another Shutterstock image, but I modified the colors and added the “FL” logo to his chest in Photoshop. I could have used the revised version of Bloom’s, but I’m old school.
