I note this, because this post covers my new Learning Systems RFP Template , which includes the latest NexGen Tier 4 feature sets. Why one RFP instead of specific ones for LXP and LMS? When see the template you are going to be like “this is a lot of features and categories, no vendor will complete all of this.”

Yeah it is a peeve of mine, which is why, I decided that LEPs needed their own RFP template. When the Internet as you see it, okay not all that garbage that exists, but in 1993 with web sites. A vendor says “elearning course” ignoring that it really has a hyphen between the e and the l. I never understood why a vendor does this. Why can’t a vendor simply say video? Think of e-mail. An Interest.

On each Vendor listing – as you see in the above catalog example, if the vendor is in my Top 50 rankings for 2019, they will have an icon identifying them, Purple – Top 50, Dark Blue – Top 20, Green – Top 10. . In the area of transparency, these are vendors who have purchased additional options.

Certifications are doable from big name vendors such as Amazon, Google, Cisco, Microsoft and more. Share Link – I debated about listing this in poor, because I still see zero value in this – other vendors do it too, and I see zero value in that as well. Percipio though can accept AICC, SCORM, xAPI and CMI-5 (win!).

Equally I wanted a solution, where all vendors in the learning system space would be able to connect with their audience (you) in such a way, that it offers a unique experience and more importantly, direct engagement with someone interested in the product (system). Only the vendors in the Top 10 who have deep learning will show up.

Troy is a “triple threat” learning innovator with deep expertise as a content development practitioner, solutions consultant and technology vendor. But sending learners to a different vendor LMS for each course makes no sense. Customers are no longer willing to go to their site and log-in to their system to consume content.
