Kineo Group’s Totara LMS is a new breed of systems hitting the space. Vendors in this space include Docebo, eFront, Litmos and of course Totara. Seems to focus more on client side server, when space as a whole is focused more on SaaS. Remember when I said that some times vendors put funky icons to represent items?

Any proprietary LMS vendor like Talent LMS, Docebo, Adobe, etc., One important thing you need to note is that this acquiring cost changes from one LMS vendor to another with their different pricing models. Yes, Totara is built on Moodle, but I am talking more about some very well known commercial systems who have so customized it, that it no longer appears as it once was. are built by the vendor themselves and in essence it is just the pieces of the structure. These vendors do not use any items, plugins, etc.,
