I include Learning Portals, LCMSs, as part of the mix. Big Dog (Saba, SumTotal, Plateau, Cornerstone OnDemand, Learn.com). That said, across the board for all Big Dog systems, their social learning functionality was weak. Saba does a good job as well. Emerging Technology LMS/Learning Portal Vendor of the Year.

In 2011, the trend is showing that those days are gone. A recent study found over 40% of CIOs saying that tablets would be purchased in 2011. In my LMS directory (which includes LCMS, Learning Portals) there are 369 vendors. Adobe Learning Suite only works on 32 bit computers. Another 6 will be added this week.
