This year we will focus on the top ten authoring tools for 2013. Was in the top 10 for 2012 and stays in for 2013. While they do offer a free version – which is quite nice, the fee based version (which isn’t that pricey) offers a stronger set of features. Text to Speech – awesome!

This solution reminds me of Articulate Studio in terms of its capabilities, but at a lower cost. Offers three versions. #7 They are reporting that in March 2013 you will be able to output to HTML5.

The Latest: Rapid Content Authoring Tool Market

I believe once Articulate and some of the other big names truly launch products (such as Storyline), the market will wait. The Kindle Fire, Barnes and Noble’s version are still heavy e-book driven. ADA 508 compliant or the European version of ADA 508. This is going to be huge by 2013 in the consumer marketplace.
