The new portal called Open@Adobe will hold Adobe’s open source projects in coming days. Adobe has released SWF specifications till its version 10. Also there are implementations like Frash and Smokescreen that are attempting to run Flash content on unsupported devices like iPhones and iPads.

1 million iPad2 tablets were sold in the first weekend it launched, it took over 25 days to sell 1 million units of the iPad. Apple is launching an iTunes university or along those lines, so end users can take courses. In my LMS directory (which includes LCMS, Learning Portals) there are 369 vendors. Bottom Line.

Several more of the Tier 2/Tier 3 LMS vendors also “tossed their hat in the ring” (or towards it anyway) announcing some way of publishing content so it could appear via a mobile browser on the iPhones , iPads and Android device trying to capture a few of their most “loyal fans” in learning land. Others vendors will quickly follow/respond.
