In my last blog post , I shared the basic reasoning behind optimizing your e-learning media files and how to reduce file size using external tools. The advantage of using the compression options in your authoring tool is that it is quick and easy to compress everything in the course at once.

The author has good before and after examples. Play Around with the Software. Compared to building courses in Flash or Authorware, the rapid elearning tools are easy to use. For example, I get a lot of questions about the best way to get started with Articulate Presenter. Create a simple 10 slide PowerPoint file.

Last week I shared a free PowerPoint template that was inspired by the iPad’s notebook app. In last week’s template, I purposely only included the final template and not the original source file.
