There are a few common issues when working with rapid elearning tools. If you use Quizmaker ‘09, make sure to take advantage of the Slide View feature. Then I suggest getting inspiration from web design sites. It’s a great way to show off your rapid elearning skills. Think of it like a Jell-O mold.

Rapid elearning design is made up of three core functions: rapid authoring, rapid assets, and rapid instructional design. This is my preferred approach for a course that uses a conventional interface like those that come with the rapid elearning players. In this case, she built the help instructions with the animations and audio in Quizmaker. I like it because it used a game-like approach to show a less conventional use of rapid elearning tools.

When building rapid elearning with PowerPoint it can be a challenge to get away from linear courses. I created this demo from one of the Flash examples that Allen Interactions shares on their site. I did it as a challenge because someone told me that you can’t build effective and engaging elearning with PowerPoint.
