People at the big events are talking about informal learning, social learning, simulations, webinars, mobile, virtual classrooms, community, interactivity, and web 2.0. Training departments are mired in Industrial Age, top-down attitudes, and that’s not playing well with Network Era, customer-focused workers. Workers are disgruntled.
