ILT (Instructor Led Training – Workplace, even EdTech – K-12 and Higher Education). Heck, I was in a doctorate program, whereas the majority of the ‘courses’ was via Lotus Notes, the other was ILT. Blackboard. Why have a system to house courses, when ILT was the main way of learning and training?

I would estimate that there was a 60-40 split, still instructor led driven, but even a significant number of the ILT vendors were offering subsets or capabilities to turn their ILT into online via webinars or online courses. I admit I was surprised that Cornerstone Learning Suite, Saba, Blackboard, Bridge, SuccessFactors, Linkedin Learning and even Docebo did not. In the industry the functionality you are seeking is called classroom management (only for ILT) and event management (for webinars, seminars, etc.). . Who Didn’t. Spoke (Yes).

to the expo vendors who forgot to bring any type of product example to the show – this event will go down in history! I did not attend the seminars – the comments I heard about the session times were from others – but I did hit the expo floor for two days and it did not disappoint.
