One of the common reasons I hear from knowledge workers inside large organizations for not following the suggestions I provide is that the organization itself puts up barriers to working this way. Add to this VOIP/Skype, 3G and what’s happening with video on demand. Lots of managers will choose to look the other way.

A calling to a large number of vendors (small, medium and big), are all reporting strong numbers in January, with many saying that January 2011, was their best month – numbers and business wise, in the last few years. Vendors are adding more “comments&# and voting i.e. yes or no or thumbs up/thumbs down features.

More vendors enabling the use of APIs – i.e. people can create their own API and integrate them into the LMS/Learning Portal vendor’s system, this equally means you can create mashups too. Consumers expect a one business day response. Hiring someone who offers business intelligence services. Reality Check.
