For those of you unaware of DevLearn, the show has been around for years and is one of e-learning guild’s premier shows in my opinion. A wedding reception was in the same corridor as the DevLearn event. Best Product at DevLearn 2014. What bothered me the most about Grovo was what didn’t happen. The result?

Cornerstone owns Grovo, and mentions often that with the Grovo content you can edit it and add your own stuff, change, etc. Great, but why charge extra for Grovo? DevLearn is here. Another hotel. Who Owns “Microlearning?” The Learners Do. Not Grovo.

Grovo, Inc. Sadly, Grovo is claiming ownership of “water” and “air”, in this case. In my humble opinion, Grovo is being high-handed about running its business. founded 2010) has trademarked the term “Microlearning”, reported by Chief Learning Officer. CLO states this is currently on a Supplemental Status.

Hits and Misses in 2022 – Learning Systems Edition

If you purchase Cornerstone and decide to buy some content via Content Anytime (it’s an aggregator from Cornerstone, with multiple publishers), where you aware that the Grovo content (owned by Cornerstone) allows you the ability to edit it and tailor the content to your business, etc? My guess, is not. It’s never messaged.
