This morning, I had a great time giving a presentation to a group over in the UK via a mash up of Skype and Second Life. So using the video of Skype on one computer and the world of Second Life on another, I gave a tour of MSIT island and talked about different learning designs for virtual worlds.

I recall speaking in November on a webinar panel and being somewhat chided over the fact that I kept repeating the importance of mobile learning and tablets. Vendors are adding more “comments&# and voting i.e. yes or no or thumbs up/thumbs down features. It was as though, I was somewhere on Saturn. Live casting.

I picked up the same tip from Michele, and while I havent used Jott to blog, its a terrific way to "write" a note to yourself without endangering too many other drives. Ability to use Skype – 48.5%. Skype – 20%. I blame this totally on the industry as a whole – who focused too much on the same features as everyone else – forgetting the over 25 different types of social media available, or even creating a mashup of social types. Audio/video/image editing – 51.4%.
