In my experience they are characterised by complex, clunky functionality for both administrators and end users. LMS that are part of a suite of HR Systems (e.g. Savv-e Express ).

A few of the more interesting graphs that you can't really see well except by going and seeing a larger version at LMS Satisfaction and LMS Barriers and Features. SkillPort scores very high as well on satisfaction. As these systems catch up, this will make the market really hard for Saba and SumTotal. NetDimensions 1 9.30

They actually have two learning management systems, but for whatever reason, they are pitching their SharePoint version. If I was to compare the Big Dog Four – SuccessFactors, Saba, Cornerstone OnDemand and SumTotal by Skillsoft, Saba would win hands down. SumTotal by Skillsoft. ELEARNINGFORCE. Speaking of which.
