Blackboard also just introduced a BlackBerry application to work alongside their current Apple iPhone offerings. An Apple iPhone 3G can now be purchased new for US$99 (plus data plan of course) – this sets the price bar at an approachable level for virtually anyone who wants a smartphone and other vendors must cover Apple's bet here too.

For the mobile learning space – it is a necessity. In the past year: Apple has filed a patent for 3D Kinect experience using touch free gesturing. Another Apple patent includes allowing users via touch free gesturing to move content from one device to another (example from your iPad to your television).

Oh, excuse me – social networking to most of the vendors who spin it under the guise of social learning. I won’t constantly bore you on their Facebook, Twitter like components, nor discussion board or text chat, but seriously.who thinks this is engaging and interactive? What about Twitter? what about PGP?

Chris Badgett: I do come on his Friday round table show semi-regularly, which is a really great discussion on things that are happening in tech and WordPress and even in the e-learning space. Chris Badgett: I think a lot of software in the e-learning space, they always attack WordPress. It’s a thing they do.
