Audacity is an open source audio editor. I usually record my audio directly in the rapid elearning tools. However, if I have a larger project, then I like to break my production up into chunks and keep my audio separate. I don’t use it as much as I used to now that Articulate’s Studio ‘09 provides a video encoder.

Rather it means putting them in an audio file, such as mp3, so that they can be uploaded to an iPod or similar device that allows them to be portable. Monday started with Articulate Live ‘09 and ended with the eLearning Guild’s Annual Gathering. When you publish the course, the slide with the audio, images, and animations is converted to a Flash movie file (.swf). That cost a lot of time. Last week was a blur.
