Very very impressive, with mega features including desktop sharing, audio/video, whiteboards, along with remote administration tools, a moderating system, and a tool for importing documents in 32 different formats, integrates well with Moodle, but you do not need to have Moodle. Red5Chat -video, audio chat functionality – Flash driven.

The growing number of businesses leaving Microsoft Outlook to Internet e-mail is amazing. While there are a couple of vendors out there who have incorporated e-mail that can go to outside to people, rather than just within the learning management product, the overall space isn’t doing it.

It comes from me talking to vendors, buyers, monitoring the industry all the while taking notes and seeing the trends/patterns appear right before my eyes. What has always amazed me are number of e-learning vendor web sites whose design looks like it came from 1995 when Netscape ruled the land. Frankly, it is unreal.

My personal favorite feature is the timeline with individual tracks for audio, images and text. Studio has always been known for the PowerPoint to Flash approach, but it also includes audio narration, TOC (yeah!) Outputs include HTML5, MP4, Microsoft Silverlight, Adobe Air. Easy to use interface and supports SCORM and AICC. #18

Estimate 55% e-learning related content, including e-learning vendors and ILT vendors who added a “virtual training” component as part of their offerings. To me, many more LMS vendors than in the past, especially some newbies I’ve never seen attend the show. And the lack of lunch.
