A portfolio of learning assets was created, which included ‘above the line’ learning interventions (instructor-led classroom and online classroom) as well as ‘below the line’ (e-learning, email and phone support, with corporate social networking groups). This was accomplished using Bupa’s Saba Centra virtual classroom platform.

Web conferencing or chat rooms – I know it might come as a shock but WebEx was alive and in full mode in 2000 and so was Centra – remember them? you would be surprised at the number of people who believe it was created at an Arizona movie stage). What Modules are being seen today as they were back in the early 200os?

This announcement comes on the heels of Saba acquiring Centra. Now this deal makes more sense as Saba continues evolve beyond its Learning Management Software (LMS) roots (Saba recently bought THINQ) by rounding out its services offering. Plus Saba + Centra creates a US$100M revenue company which is not too shabby!
