As technological capability increases, the cloud becomes pervasive, and the power of social and mobile become progressively evident, these will transform the way we function. We know that training is not enough and employees cannot be trained for skills that are still emergent. I have captured a few possible ones in the diagram below.

And in the course of my many conversations with different organizations and their L&D departments, I see an emerging pattern of thoughts and behavior. Then comes the dichotomy of having an enterprise collaboration platform where no one is sharing, where there are no conversations happening, no debates and questions.
