A vendor says “elearning course” ignoring that it really has a hyphen between the e and the l. I never understood why a vendor does this. Why can’t a vendor simply say video? A lot of vendors will list the publisher of the content, as if some learner says, “Holy Moly – you have IT skills?

This past week, Cornerstone Convergence (more on what I saw, screens, etc.) Attending Cornerstone Convergence held at Resort Worlds (the Frontier was one property that once stood there), brought out some intrigue and in my case, well, me. Overall, I love where Cornerstone is going with learning. Another hotel. Another hotel.

Just as in 2021, vendors were seeded on two sides – let’s call one side – “A”, and the other side “B” These are seeding not rankings. I slide associations under B2B, because you are providing education/training to an audience base that is external (the main focus). Bounce into the 2022 Bracket.

I had a grad school professor once recommend I read an article in a textbook, to provide futher enlightenment on something I was doing. Who can recall the manuals we provided employees or members thinking they love this stuff? We provide our employees with a lot of stuff – called content. I used it for a door holder.

Even with limited development skills, there is an area within Helium, where a template is available, and code snippets – you select say X, the code is provided, and a simple cut and paste. Thought Industries is for customer education/partner training, associations, and other B2B/B2C, like training providers for example.

I admit have the time when I look at a few from the larger name entities, I can’t figure out how that vendor got to that part of that grid, what in the heck does that mean, and why is that vendor who isn’t even a learning system, appearing in that section of the grid over there? white label and it looks like the system).
