I know SumTotal Learning Management gets tagged regularly when it comes to support. And I know folks who leave them are usually unhappy for various reasons, but I can tell you that I have had two in-depth meetings with SumTotal including one with the VP of Customer Service/Support and have seen the metrics. Also sells a Knowledge Management Platform, which can be added to LMS for an additional cost. The system can either be SaaS or hosted on your own servers. I prefer the SaaS.

Cannot skin on the SaaS version and even if you host it on your own servers you have to do it via CSS code (this is not uncommon in the VLP market, but it still is a minus in book). Other fee is hours to use – which the base is 6,000 users at the cost of $3,000 USD. SumTotal: Expensive system and what you are buying is name IMO.
