Animate - which is not really an authoring tool but enables you to create scenarios with actors/avatars which can be lip synched with your voice.

How about – Litmos actually skinning the product themselves – as the majority of vendors do – at no additional charge or more simple click customization options. Currently, Litmos does not offer the ability for online/offline synchronization with a mobile device.

Custom domains – rather than have yourcompany.vendorname.com, some systems are now offering custom domains so that your learners see whatever name you create.com and remove the vendor name. Want a native app?

Not so much, from what I saw – some of the tools were underwhelming (granted some were quite impressive), but rather how the vendors themselves perceived where the market is going and what customers want in their authoring tools. Again, there were RCAT vendors a few years back that began with peer review/collaboration.

More vendors showing off their products then in the past – still a couple believe that a poster board will do the trick. Significant increase in custom development shops – the most I have seen ever at TK12. Wi-Fi worked a lot better, but vendors and end users still had issues inside the expo hall.
