I could understand an argument that it would be preferable for individuals to be able to use the same tools outside the corporation for personal interests - but I don't see his argument that it is no longer a PLE or PWLE. This sounds a lot like a personal learning environment, personal knowledge management (PKM) and personal work and learning environment (PWLE) and PIM. For example, Personal Learning , PLE , PWLE , PKM are all pretty closely related. For example, I doubt we are using an authoring tool for personal learning.
