A couple of vendors told me they think it will be a fad. Expect it to continue.

I surmise that many of you do this, at least with photographs, whether it be offline (downloaded software) or online. Look at the e-learning market and ask yourself, if the consumer market as a whole is using this, why wouldn’t vendors in our space follow suit? Again, respondents could select as many as they wanted.

Features include adaptive learning, collaboration, scenario builder, SCORM, question pool/assessments and SaaS. They are reporting that in March 2013 you will be able to output to HTML5. Also no offline/online synch unless via a LMS (which supports it). IMO you want the fee based product. Why you may ask?

484 respondents who completed every question, 40% corporate, 30% education, 8% non-profit, o% from association and 22% e-learning vendors (those were extracted from the below results and will be seen in a future blog). A double bonus: 50% of those who made up the 12% of “no” were e-learning vendors.

Reporting – strong with the added bonus of ad-hoc. Online/Offline synch – not yet live, coming later this Summer – that is with native app for iOS – not everyone system is involved in the early stages of TinCan (the next evolution of SCORM) – Blue Volt is however. Social Learning – No.

Best of the Best – Extended Enterprise or multi-tenant LMSs

The one item that I see as needing improvement is the look and feel of the reports – but I have been told this will be in the next update (a few months from now). The system as a whole is quite robust including digital signatures, online/offline synch and a very nice UI. E-Learning 24/7. B2B, B2C, Channel and TP.
