I have seen continued interest and downloads for open source AR tool kits. If you are still a huge fan of ILT or believe a blended learning approach is necessary, why stick only to PowerPoint, handouts and long talks? There were vendors that had nice LMSs and cool features. There were some very slick products. It just wasn’t me thinking this, I heard it from attendees and even other vendors who were trolling the floor. Some angle to game based learning – either an app or actual product. Best Product I saw.

Continued increase in the number of vendors, regardless of size or target customer size (i.e Expect to see an increase in systems adding compensation, other workforce mgt features and benefits to their products. A calling to a large number of vendors (small, medium and big), are all reporting strong numbers in January, with many saying that January 2011, was their best month – numbers and business wise, in the last few years.

The trends apply to both LMS/LCMS vendors. Extended Enterprise - Vendors are expanding into the wholesaler/reseller/affiliates/sales agent sector with their solutions. The note of interest is that it is occurring with all size of vendors, albeit the charge is being led by mid size vendors.
