Don’t double compress videos – use uncompressed or lossless formats when compressing to FLV format. Encoding videos to FLV. Before using videos in your Flash project, you would need to encode them in a format compatible with Adobe Flash (FLV or MPEG-4). Supported source formats are: asf, avi, dv, mov, mp4, mpg, mpeg, wmv.

The Open Screen Project was started to help create a singular experience on multiple devices (using Flash) be it Computers, Mobiles, TV or Game consoles. The most important one is Adobe removing restrictions on SWF and FLV/F4V specifications. Opera has released a HTML 5 version (Opera mobile) for Windows Mobile.

Global level functionalities like Notepad, add favorites, appendix, help etc. The only option left then is to develop the courses in HTML and JavaScript. This is immensely helpful when you create multilingual courses. flv [Flash video format] is not supported in some servers by default and it needs to be configured.

To enable this, you can mark and structure text using the HTML Text Type property. For each text block, you can set the HTML Text Type to Heading 1 through Heading 6.

I suggest high-end JavaScript or PHP users to go with Lectora because after publishing the course, it will export each page as a separate HTML page which JavaScript users can edit according to their requirements. We can insert videos in all three tools and also add streaming videos.Supported formats are MP4, FlV and AVI. Animations.

The latest version, Articulate ’09, has some interesting new features like Single-slide Preview, FLV Support, Easy Audio Editor, and Articulate Branding Removed.
