Don’t double compress videos – use uncompressed or lossless formats when compressing to FLV format. Encoding videos to FLV. Before using videos in your Flash project, you would need to encode them in a format compatible with Adobe Flash (FLV or MPEG-4). Supported source formats are: asf, avi, dv, mov, mp4, mpg, mpeg, wmv.

Adobe wants to latch onto the developer group that’s comfortable with Flash, yet wants their services and content to run across platforms – this by making its runtime consistent across all devices and encourage developers to design accordingly. The most important one is Adobe removing restrictions on SWF and FLV/F4V specifications.

While I didn't have any trouble with that service, it was limited in that you could only do five conversions for free. The The service was also very basic. . PowerPoint 2010. I have previously recommended using www.mediaconverter.org for video conversion.

Lectora and Lectora Online support adding captions to FLV and MP4 video formats. You can easily create it yourself, or use a 3rd party service (such as 3PlayMedia ). Using an external service (such as mp3ToolBox ), convert your audio file to MP4. Click Save As and save the file as an FLV. Enter Run or Preview mode.
