So Im going to try to mix it up a bit. Im still smiling. But Im wearing a different purple shirt. I should also show you pictures of me where Im not smiling. Although Im professional, I do have many faces. Usually, Im the one with the camera. I do, indeed, often look like that.

If I notice Im losing someones attention in class, Ill instantly make direct eye-contact, maybe raise an eyebrow, and start talking directly to that student, and most of the time. Im not sure if the SME was reading a script, reading the notes, or just speaking from the heart. This past year we started doing more video interviews with SMEs using Flip cameras over the XL1. There's something about using smaller cameras that puts people at ease better than the pro-looking cameras.
