Kinect technology and gesture free will equally make an appearance in 2012. I am projecting that the number of vendors who enter this space to start slow, but gain steam – at least with some aspect, by the end of 2012. This is my major hot trend for 2012. Based on what I am seeing, 2012 is going to be the best yet.

Tin Can compliment – but no native app and no online/offline synch. Tin Can API with online/offline synchronization – AWESOME! At the end of 2012, was #4, now it is #6. M-Learning offers online/offline synchronization. No Tin Can and thus no online/offline synch. What are those? Easy to use.

I am projecting that by the end of 2012, you will see HRIS features come into play, but more so as an additional cost module. I expect to see over 80% of the market go SaaS by the end of 2012. What I am seeing is an increase in learning system vendors exploring online/offline synch with the iPad/iPad2 (and yes, Android OS).
